Trekking Mount Rinjani: Tetebatu crater-rim 2 Days 1 Night

Hiking Mount Rinjani via Tetebatu trekk will lead you through the crater of Tetebatu and the local called Mount Sangkareang with altitude 3200 meter above sea level. It is one of the legal trekk that government offer to hiker who want to hike mount Rinjani. 

The trekk via Tetebatu it is available for all the level hiker includ beginner or kid (minimum 10 years old) because the trekk not so long as long as the trekk via Sembalun or Senaru. And the positif thing of this trekk is jungle, from beginning until the camp site, so it is not so hot when you walk.

Getting on top of the crater, you will see beautiful sunrise, the lake, mount Rinjani view, the Lombok island view. It is spectacular view that you enjoy from mount Sangkareang.

Itinerary: 

Arrival Day!

- Pick you up from airport, harbour, or hotel around Lombok if you are in Lombok already at anytime you want.

- Transfer to Tetebatu village.

- Check in accommodation. 

- Free program.

Day 1:

- Pick you up at 8:00 am from your accommodation around Tetebatu, and meet with your guide and porter.

- Transfer to start point about 20 minute.

- Start walking through the forest and jungle. It is take about 7 hours include break & lunch.

- Arrive at the camp site, relax, enjoy the coffee or tea with Rinjani view if the weather clear.

- Dinner at 7:00 pm.

- enjoy the born fire before go to sleep.

Day 2:

- Wake up at 3:30 am.

- Small breakfast, drink coffee or tea.

- Start walking at 4:00 through the summit. It is take about 2 hours.

- Arrive at the top mount sangkareang (3200 meter above sea level,) enjoy the sunrise, the lake, volcano. 

- Back to camp site, second breakfast, rest for 1 hour.

- After, back to Tetebatu village. Get lunch on he way.

- Drop you off to your hotel around Tetebatu.

- It is the end of the tour.
