How to get Tetebatu?
Tetebatu located in east Lombok with altitude around 500 meter about sea level, near by rain forest (Rinjani Nasional park.) From Mataram (capital of Lombok) you need to Drive around one hour 30 minutes. From airport it is about 1 hour. And from the bangsal harbour, it is about 2 hour, simmiler from Kuta Lombok. The good option to get Tetebatu is take local driver.

Tetebatu know with beautiful Ricefield, Waterfall, and monkey forest. The best way to explore and to get all of those is walking tour with local guide. When you walk around the village, you will see beautiful nature and meet with the local, also you will learn lot of thing from your local guide, who know the area to lead you to Ricefield, Waterfall, and monkey forest. Also, if you want to see another thing, you can visit coffee and coconut oil process place.

Outside of Tetebatu, one of the nice thing to do is visit these place. The local say, village tour. The local guide or local scooter driver, with the scooter Will bring you to visit these place. From this tour, you will see the process of bamboo, making sarung, pottery, and activity of the local at tradisional market.

If you stay longer in Tetebatu and if you like hiking, you can do trekking to mount Rinjani, Tetebatu crater-rim. Tetebatu crater-rim usually call sangkareang mountain by local. When you hike mount sangkareang, you can see the lake volcano, and beautiful sunset or sunrise.

Deep in the forest, there are so nice place to do camping to get feel the rain forest, hear the bird singing and visit the biggest waterfall in Tetebatu, it is called jeruk manis waterfall.
