Lombok Cycling Tour: Traditional Market, Bamboo craft, Sarung.
Cycling is one of the activity that you can do if you do holiday in Lombok island, Indonesia. Cycling tour will give you spot while you get nice experience. On this tour, you will do cycling to traditional market to see the local activity there, bamboo craft, to see the local process bamboo become something that useful for daily life, like bag, hat, box. After, you will see the process of making sarung, hand weaving. The tour about to see local activity, get closer with them and to learn about local culture. Than from this tour you will know how the lombok's people.
Tour Itinerary:
- In the morning at 8:30, we will come to your hotel in tetebatu while we bring the bicycle and you will start the tour at 9:00 am from your hotel.
- Stop point 1: Traditional Market. When you arrive here, you will walking around the market, to see local activity and what they sell. You can buy something or taste the local food.
- Stop point 2: Bamboo handy craft. On bamboo, you will see the local craft bamboo. While you follow the process the local serve you by coffee or tea. Also you allow to try how to craft bamboo.
- Stop point 3: Sarung, hand weaving. Arriving in this place, you will meet with someone who live there, who bring you around the village to visit the local houses to see the process. After the process, you will back to the store to see the collection.
- Back to hotel. From the sarung back to hotel. You can back by cycling or with the car. Also, if you are hungry, you can have lunch first at local restaurant than back to your hotel, depend on you.
